WHAT IS AN ARBORIST REPORT?

Arborist reports are prepared by a suitability qualified Arborist with a minimum qualification of AQF Level 5.  They can be prepared to facilitate various applications, however the most common reports are often prepared for development applications with Local Councils or State Government bodies, or for risk in settings such as schools, kindergartens, or areas where public safety is of concern.

WHEN IS AN ARBORIST REPORT NEEDED?

DEVELOPMENT

Trees should be considered at the earliest possible stages of planning, this gives developers and designers an opportunity to achieve the best outcomes.  Depending on your site and your local municipalities tree protections, you may be required to provide an Arborist report prior to the planning permit application, not only for trees on your site, but neighbouring trees also.

RISK

Depending on the site and risk exposure, trees should be assessed and reported on annually, or after extreme wind events.  These reports should align with industry recognized tree risk assessment methods such as Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) or the International Society of Arboriculture's Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)

WHY HAVE TREES ASSESSED BY AN INDEPENDENT COMPANY?

Having your trees assessed and reported on independently provides peace of mind that the assessment outcomes are true and impartial.  Blooming Tree Group has no other vested interest other than the best possible outcome for our clients.
